Was playing online and the CD just crashed to desk top.It won't boot from the drive anymore.I think I'm in trouble here.
Other CD's and such work just fine.
To put it in other words.What are my options?
I really don't want to buy another 08' edition.This Sucks! :(

| reboot your system and try it again,if you done a full install of the game the DVD is only accessed when you start the game not while you are playing. |

| If, after doing as Carnoustie suggests, it will boot but not run, try using the "NOINTRO" fix. |

Last night I tried shutting down the system and turned it back on.
Nothing happened when I tried to boot TW.
This morning I tried it again and,low and behold it started working.
That has NEVER happened to me in all these years of playing this game.
Thanks for the 2 responses.The world is on it's axis again.:) |

If that happens again, open up task manager and see if the following processes are running.
ATLJabber.exe
SportsWrapper.exe
TW2008.exe
If so, end these and try TW again. |

This is one of the reasons I stopped playing the 08 game, the disk would spin and it would never load. Than I unistalled the game, and I couldn't even re-install it. I even exchanged the game at the store.
What I found is, when you have a firewall on your computer, it causes the disk not to work. Than when you turn off the firewall this game loads up 85% of the time. Granted my computer settings may be different than many of the people around, this is just the problems I had with the 08 dead DVD.
