Hey y'all...
I was trying to free up some space on one of my drives, so I moved 06,07,08 to another one...everything worked fine except 06. So I uninstalled it...(actually deleted it, that's probably the mistake) and now it won't install. Inserting the disc does nothing, and when I click on TW06 Inst.exe file from the disc, it starts and immediately stops...
Is there a file somewhere that I have missed contributing to this ya think...?
Anyone have any ideas?

Fedex, did you use Add and remove programs, if not try that. If no go, use RegEdit and
delete TW06. Should load after this is done.

Unfortunately I didn't use Add and Remove... I was just planning on moving and fixing the drive letters in the paths...
Tried removing 06 in regedit (Local Machine / Software) didn't work... So I did a system restore, then uninstalled with Add and Remove, and it STILL won't install..
The Installshield wizard unpacks the files, and that's it... quits after that, doesn't come back up...
...It appears that this was a BAD idea.... :(

Rob, I don't know if this will help you, but might be worth a try.
Go to recuva.com it's free.
It helped me find a deleted tca once, maybe it will help you. |

Well Larry, Everyone...
I'm afraid that won't help me this time... I tried every registry edit I could find, repaired the Windows Installer, NO LUCK!!
ONLY after I decided to do a COMPLETE reinstall of TW... (08,07,06) did I realize where the problem was...
After Uninstalling all games and reinstalling 08 and 07.... I picked up the 06 case to get the CD key and BEHOLD...
the INSTALL CD...OMG I'm such an IDIOT... I was trying to install with the courses CD...(never occurred to me that there was more than one CD, and the name "Courses Disc" gave no clue...)
Do you have any idea how tempting it was to just say "Thanks guys...that did it"... But, you never know, someone else may benefit from my STUPIDITY... :(
Feel free to cast stones, and break out the tar and feathers....Guess its time for another donation...huh TBM..? :)
I apologize to everyone who wasted their time on this for me, but as always, it IS appreciated...

Well... FINALLY got everything back going... My course count is MUCH lower though...:)(oh well, I didn't really like some of them anyway) I'll be a little more particular now...
What a disaster, but the Caddie sure proved helpful in reinstalling the libraries, its nice to be able to zip them up and just keep pressing enter... :) Thanks again for the Caddie !!
