Over the last couple of months there has been an increase in the amount of new designers, which is great. Most new designers can find the process of uploading a course can be difficult and confusing. Which is why, like we always do, found an easier way to do it. Coming VERY VERY soon a new uploader will be available which automates the upload process. Your file will still have to wait for approval from the staff.
Features
Incorporated technology form TWCaddie to automatically read files after upload to get course name, course GUIDand required libraries. Which means we can tell when someone is uploading a course they Didnt create.
Automatically uncompresses, TCX files. (WHICH SHOULDNT BE THERE BUT SOME STILL MAKE THE MISTAKE)
Verifies the upload to make sure it is classified for the correct game.
Allows users to upload missing files without having to re-upload entire course.
When it is launched courses will not be presented to staff for approval until they pass file verification.
There will be two options for architect comments. One will not be able to be edited by the architect after the course is approved, this is the text file that will be included with the course. The second is the architect comments that appear on the course page, and nothing will change with those.
I hope that this will make it easier for new designers when uploading courses. |

Yes, you may need to select a library if the GUID matches more than one library.
P.S. No wonder people keep uploading TCX files, guess if the instructions tell you to, then your going to do it. |
