Hey guys,
going to be refromatting to windows vista and need to know if there is a particular file or folder i need to save so i do not lose my current profile. i would like to reinstall that profile and saved status into new setup. the last time i did this i saved the folder out of my documents and it would show my profile but it didnt show up in the game, alas had to recreate and go through the gauntlet again. any info is helpful ....thanks |

under My Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Career\Players there is the folder and a plr file you need to save and there is also 2 files in the ability folder
\My Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Ability that you need to save . put those back when you install the game and eveything should be back |

Yes it is possible to save your career.
On desktop go to folder: My Documents..........inside you will find folder: Tiger Woods PGA Tour08
( when you are using Vista or Win7: on desktop look for folder: User (or username).....inside you will find My documents...and inside you will find folder: Tiger Woods PGA Tour08 )
This is the folder you will have to save to a location on your PC.
When you saved folder (Tiger Woods PGA Tour08)you can uninstall TW08.
When you reinstalled TW08 game:
First you need to create the golfer profile with exactly the same name you used before
Important: Now play 1 hole on any course, and close TW08 game.
Now go back on desktop to folder: My documents.....and inside replace the folder: Tiger Woods PGA Tour08......with the one you saved before.
Very Important: There is another folder with same name:Tiger woods PGA Tour08.... on next location:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08
Don t save this folder!!!! you will have to save the one located in: My documents |
