I'm looking to get a new computer soon and understand the NVidia GeForce 6150SE isn't currently supported.

Is there a "list" of unsupported chips so I know which ones to stay away from?????

they are also listed in the readme.txt file on your DVD
in the support section

be aware that since the game was released 18 months ago, there are a number of ATI and Nvidia cards that are not on the list but that work well

... and you dont want a chip (;which generally means an integrated video source) but an actual separate video card

if its a laptop, stay away from intel for the graphics chip

Windows Vista Home Premium SP1-32bit : , 2.30 GHz AMD Athlon 64x2-4400 : 2GB Ram : Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS

My personal rule for putting: If it looks straight, shoot it straight- 7 times out of 10, itll go in. However if there is any contour at all- screw it, itll be a 2 putt Par :D

Hi...
GT or GTS series of nvidia are performing much better on TW game, compared with the SE series.
So i believe it is good idea to go for GT or GTS card of nvidia.

The 6150 SE is a graphics chipset embedded on the motherboard; for what it is, it's a very good chipset, but nowhere as strong as a dedicated gpu.

Dbeast, you most likely don't need to purchase a whole new computer; you can probably purchase a video card, and install it on your existing motherboard for a fraction of the cost of a new machine.

I'm looking for something faster. I've got a single core AMD and looking for a quad core AMD

The AMD core that youre talking about is your Central Processing Unit,,,,,, thats different from your Graphic Processing Unit, although it does play a role in gaming. What youre most in need of (; at least as far as this game is concerned ) is separate GPU......... something along the lines of this......http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121289

copy and paste that line into your browsers address box.......

Helps to say what your looking for as far as a laptop or desktop....

For laptops, most have integrated gpus and for the most part unless a gaming one is almost next to impossible to upgrade.
