Not sure where to ask this question or if I should even ask it here, but here is alot of experience and knowledge with many folks on this site. It really has nothing to do with golf, but here goes. Does anyone here use a registry cleaner of any kind? If so, which one? Any luck with them? My puter is starting to slow down some and getting an error here and there. I do the anti virus checks, disk clean and defrag religiously. Maybe I'm missing something else?

If it helps any, the ones I use are all free as well. I use the following:

RegSeeker
CCleaner

And the other freebie utilities I use and all are fabulous, are:
Defraggler
Lavasoft Ad-Aware
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
WinPatrol

All free and all are fabulous. Have never had one single problem with anything and to be honest, one of the best things you can do is simply delete cookies and temporary internet files regularly, but a few of the programs above will do that for you.

Good luck. You cant go wrong with any of them. You can find them all at http://www.filehippo.com/ I believe.

dont change any of the default settings on any reg cleaner unless you know what you are doing, you could be left with a system that wont boot.

Thanks much for the info guys. I loaded CCleaner that Jeff and Tiger recommended and ran it. Seems to have cleaned alot of things up with no adverse effects. Appreciate the advice. Thanks again!!
