hi all:
was playing last night with a group who all had the flags, logo, and splashscreen of my new course. Am wondering why I dont have them. I went into TW08 and highlighted the course then properties and think i installed them from the folder. Hit apply and OK and still have nothing there. Is there something else I need to do? I only show logos for the stock courses and none other. And I have downloaded the logo+splashscreen folder. What is it I need to do?

Hi....
I can see flag + logo + splash.....no problem.
You tried to uninstall course and reinstall with TWCaddie08 ?
Yes... when you go in properties you should be able to add logo + flag + splash manually.

Also I believe that if you have the game on and you try to install the splash it won't go. You have to close out of the game and then open it back up. At least I have to.

i got some advice from a fellow player. He said to try the myzipfile, (which I didnt do) when I download. I d/l all courses into their own folder and the libraries into a separate foolder. Guess that answers all my questions. I uninstalled Jerrys Stairway and reloaded it with the zipfile. Now I have all flags, logos and splash with it as well as the text to introduce it. Sheesh.. now in order to get all the logos and such I'll have to do everyone separately. Or is there another way to do it? Thank you Gunpower for the compliment on the course.. Gotta say thanks to Jeff Jarvis for making my flag, logo and splashscreen. I couldnt figure out how to use the templates and he offered his expertise to make them. And I must add he did a great job on all of them. My thanks to you many times Jeff for all your help and putting up with my questions. Must have drove ya nuts to have me hammer your email.. LOL.. I really do appreciate all the help here that everyone is willing to offer.

as long as the course is installed and the graphic files are in the installed course folder
use TWCaddie
open caddie
locate course
click on properties
use the button on the right of each item to open the windows explorer, navigate to the course folder (;should be same as the topmost line for File Path), then click on flag.dds if missing the flag etc
since EA stopped including the Course Utilities progrram in 07, theres no need to unzip any download course or library
just install as a zip file
or if you use MyZip, install form the MyZip file |
