Hey all. Just got the course architect for TW06 and am wondering how I install all the 08 libraries into it so I can use them for designs. I have experience with the architect from a different game, but I only have the stock libraries from 06 to use and there has to be a way to incorporate the libraries that are available. I am not great at this kind of stuff but i can be talked through it if anyone has the time. Would appreciate any kind of help in this matter. I really do want to recreate some of the courses I made for the other game I once was very much a part of. Thank you all for reading, and hopefully someone would love to help a new designer get started here. I am very anxious to get started.

| You will use the Course Utilities program that comes with TW2006 to install the TW08 libraries. You will be installing them into TW2006 and they will appear in the Course Architect program for you to use. |

sounds nice and simple enough, i guess. I opened the Course Utilities of TW06 and had no idea how to install the 08 libraries or any other custom libraries out there. Is it a cut and paste or click and drag? Nothing seemed to work for me to do this. Like I said, I'm not a computer genius, but I can be talked through things. I have no idea how to do this from the limited amount of information that was given. Thanks for the help that you did offer, I really do appreciate it, but I need it a bit more in depth.

then Install Courses for Tiger Woods 2006 (;CLSetup program) Added by: Jorgen Date Added: Jan 4 07 @ 5:12:25 AM Total Views: 7,398 this program (;to install Courses AND libraries) might be a little easier to use the Course Utilities that comes with the game
its located in the Utilities section, for 2006
this forum - Tiger Woods Forum : The Course Source also has a lot of information
edit: or use the tutorial above LOL |

Yes CLsetup06 is the tool you need: On top of coursedownloads main screen go to section: Utilities Inside utilities go to: Files and utilities for TW06......and go to section: Course installation tools Inside you will find CLsetup06. Download and install CLsetup06....and when finished you will find CLseup06 icon on your desktop.
How to put TW08 stock libraries in TW08 game: Go to next path (;default): C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses Inside courses folder you will find next course folders(;stock): PBL.....SAW...BOS....DOR....EAS.....FRS...HAR.....KHC...KOC....NTL...RIV
inside each folder you will see library file (;for example in PBL folder you will see PBL library) Now right click library and choose copy....and paste library to desktop. Do same for all other libraries. Now dubble CLSETUP06 icon on desktop...and popup screen will appear.....in this popup screen search for desktop copied stock libraries....dubble click on each library and CLsetup06 will install all TW07 stock libraries in TW06 game. |

Note: When you installed a lot of libraries in TW06 game it is possible Course architect will not work anymore: But there is a great tool available: Cloaking Tool When you have a lot of libraries installed( +40 libraries) in TW06 game, Course architect will not work anymore or will become unstable. But there is a great tool available: Cloaking Tool. With Cloaking tool you can cloak ( disable) libraries you don t need in your new course, so course architect will run much better when you cloaked.
You can download Cloaking Tool on this site. On homepage of coursedownloads on top go to section: Utilities...... Inside go to section TW06......and choose: Course design tools......inside you will find cloaking tool. There is also Help section ( how to use ) inside Cloaking Tool. (it is very easy to use )
Note: Another thing you can try is to delete the files in folder: Swapfiles C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Course Architect 06\swapfiles |

Thank you all very much. I've got the libraries installed and am ready to go. I have the cloaking device loaded up and thank you all so much for your help. I hope I can design some courses you all enjoy playing. Once again, thank you all.
