Viewsonic VX2235wm 22" Widescreen 1680x1050 Native Res. ( Latest Viewsonic Vista 64bit monitor driver installed) CPU - Intel Core2 Quad Q6600@3.6 GHZx4-8MBL2 Cache SLI Video Cards - Dual EVGA NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GTX Dual G92 1GB GDDR Direct X10 Graphic Compatable Motherboard - XFX nForce 780i SLI ATX (1600 MHZ Front Side Bus) System Memory - 4GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-1066 SDRAM (High Performance PC2-8500 Memory)
I am unable to set the system to 64 bit color in any of my games including TW via the Nvidea Control Panel. The monitor has dual screen feature but the 64bit option is grayed out for both screens. Any help in enabeling 64bit would be greatly appreciated. All video drivers are also up to date. |

what's the point with you using 64 bit color? What's wrong with 32 bit?
With your Comp. specs you have, you should be able to know the difference. |

64 bit color is not possible with any operating system or graphic card,32 bit is the max. |

| Not only that, the human eye can't tell the difference after some 24-26 bit anyway. |

| Thank you for the clarification. If that is the case then what is the point of having Vista or XP for that matter available in both 32 and 64 bit format if there is no noticeable visual difference? |

32 and 64 bit operating systems are very different but not in the way they render colour, that is down to the video card,it would take a huge amount of memory to produce games that used 64 bit images, more memory than current video cards have now. The link below might help explain, http://hankfiles.pcvsconsole.com/answer.php?file=430 |
