New course: Royal Links which shows off the new course overlay feature.
Added Course Overlay feature allowing extra detail on the terrain.
Added a new spline type (;after drawing a freehand spline in the editor) called Grass Objs. This is similar to the forest tool with the following differences: The objects are handled separately - having their own draw distance (;currently fixed at 50m). If the object is a SpeedTree, it never drops to billboards. They do not cast shadows, they are not rendered in reflections, they do not create collision meshes and they do not go semi-transparent.
PlayMail has been updated to support the new features above.
Added Bloom Lighting - a post processing effect that brightens the scene and emphasizes bright objects.
Turned down the brightness of the scenery.
Optimised shadow generation.
Fixed clouds not blending correctly.
Fixed scenery not being rendered correctly in shadows.
BUG FIX: After testing or playing a course from the editor, fogging was still enabled after returning to the editor.
BUG FIX: SpeedTree objects were not rendered correctly in the forest tool dialog.
The next update due in late October will include the free upgrade for existing users to Customplay Golf 2009
