I am running Tiger Woods 2008 and I am new to the game. I have downloaded all of the libraries that I need to install the 2006 version of Forest Oaks CC, which is near my home. I have also added a custom logo which shows up nicely inside the game on the course list. When I load the course it only gets about half way loaded and then the entire TW game crashes with the following error message:

Can someone please tell me how to run this course successfully in the 2008 game? I doubt that anyone will ever update it to a newer version since the Wyndham Championship has moved to Sedgefield CC. A big THANKS to all who help out in these forums!

When you say you have all of the libraries needed for the course, do you also have all of the TW2006 stock libraries loaded? Those libraries are not listed as necessary since the course is a TW2006 course and was intended for play on TW2006. Those libraries would be necessary to play that course in TW07 or TW08. That would be the first thing I would have you check. I just tried that course and was unable to get it to play either. I thought I had tried it before, but I must have been thinking of Pinehurst instead.
I am assuming you live close to Greensboro. Where in NC are you from? Charlotte here, but I grew up less than 45 minutes from Greensboro. You may want to check out the Sedgefield course that was created by the PGAX Design Team as well. I believe one of the designers from there is also working on an updated Forest Oaks, but I am not sure when that might be released. |

Jeff is correct....
I still have Forest Oaks installed in TW06 game.
You will have to download and install 3 extra libraries to play in TW08 game:
Pebble beach golf links 2006
Bridges 06
walls&& Fences 06
Go to section libraries....and inside type in search box the first word of the libraries you want to download.
When you found the libraries.......download and install in TW08 game.

| Jeff, I am in eastern Randolph County, the Franklinville/Cedar Falls area, 18-20 miles south of Forest Oaks. Thanks for your help in this matter. I will download the additional libraries and give it another try. |
