Hello
Just installed TW08 on my pc,running Vista.Can play offline but when i try to play online
get message that it needs a component that's not installed.Could someone tell me what
component i need and where to find it
Any help would be very appreciated

Hiya Sammy.....
When you installed TW game you had option to install EASO components (; EAsports online ).
You probably didn t install the EASO online components.
But that is no problem, you can install EASO components separate.
Go to your DVD drive with TW08 game......right click DVD drive and choose: Browse or explore
(;Or dubble click DVD drive )
Now on TW08 DVD look for folder: Common Easo
Inside Common Easo folder, you will see: Easo installer
Dubble click: Easo installer........and online components will be installed. |

Hi....
I believe you have to install TW08 game as administrator, with Vista.
When you installed online components, you should find them in next location:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\EA SPORTS online
inside you should see next .exe files:
atljabber.exe
sportswrapper.exe
Note:
TW programs need firewall permission
- if they are blocked, it should show in your firewall logs and/or display a firewall alert
tw2008.exe
atljabber.exe
sportswrapper.exe

checked both files,ATLJabber and Sportswrapper but they are not exe.files
just applications |

Yes ....applications.....that is ok
I found this post with google on other support site:
don t know it really works, but it is worth to try:
The only way I have found to be able to run the online portion of 2008 Tiger Woods is to run the TW08.exe in Windows 98 compatibility mode. It more or less sux but it does work.
On your desktop right click the TW08 icon (; shortcut) and choose:
Properties...compatibility...and choose windows 98

uninstalled and reinstalled and at no time does it ask me to install online components
is this unusual |

I believe this is normal you uninstalled TW08 game, but online components remained.
When you want to uninstall....and reinstall online components:
To uninstall online components:
go to folder: ea sports online
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\EA SPORTS online
inside you will see icon: Easouninstaller
Click: Easouninstaller icon , and online components will be removed
To reinstall online components:
Go to your DVD drive with TW08 game......right click DVD drive and choose: Browse or explore
(;Or dubble click DVD drive )
Now on TW08 DVD look for folder: Common Easo
Inside Common Easo folder, you will see: Easo installer
Dubble click: Easo installer........and online components will be reinstalled. |
