Hi,
I'm Allan from Scotland.
Just reloaded my TW07 on PC after move and downloaded a few courses and also guides on how to repaint game faces etc. Thanks to McBruce for tutorial on Paint.net although I have aldo used my skills in photoshop & coreldraw to redraw Colin Montgomeries face to real life style. (he's even smiling)
Hope to redo all players in TW07 and create some new faces/players for Ryhder Cup Players.

Is there a utility that lets you edit the pro players attributes instead of all 75/100?
Would like to create a lot of players but seem unable to increase attributes?

Thanks very much for file.
Players are excellent.
Had a go at creating Rory McIlroy the young golfer from Northern Ireland.
Got Tiger woods 08 on ebay this week for £12 or $24 great buy graphics are great.
Will upload created golfers as soon as tested them out.

Hi...
When you start playing TW08 game, it is important to know there is a bug in the game:
When you played some courses you will see the loading times between holes are increasing, the game will become slower and slower.
Do next steps to solve the problem:
On desktop you will see folder: My documents........
inside look for: Tiger woods PGA tour 2008....and inside go to folder: Career.
Inside Career go to folder: Players.......and inside look for your playersname folder.
Now you will see folder: Confidence.....and inside you will find files:
Hole Type.tcn......and.....Shot type.tcn
Now right click both files (; hole.tcn +Shot type.tcn) and delete both files.
When you did this: restart TW08 game and play 1 hole on any course and close TW08 game.
Go back to same confidence folder and you will see both files are regenerated: but now they are very small size (; 85kb or something like that) Now right click both files (; Type.tcn......and.....Shot type.tcn) and choose : Properties....and check box: READ ONLY. Do this for both files.
2.....Another problem is the big sized shot distance display in game.
There is a very good download on site to make the shot distance display smaller:
On top of homepage look for: Utilities....inside look in section: Game display.
And inside Game display you will find download file: Shot distance display-small text. |
