I've been practicing Expert recently and was told that the Commentary could give some useful clues to putting but I can't seem to get the commentary to work. I tried turning up the volume slider for TV anouncers but theres still no commentary. I browsed to sounds\commentary folder and was able to play the commentary files in that folder so it's not a codec issue. All other sounds in the game play perfectly. I've also downloaded and installed the latest audio drivers for Vista.
Could any of the custom content have caused a problem with the commentary?
I'd rather not have to reinstall the game so if anyone has any ideas I'd be glad to hear them. |

try custom game, use mulligans to replay shots |

Its the same with custom games as well JB.
Just tried a couple of holes on the Tour and I can hear the commentary.
Should I be able to hear the commentary when practicing in LAN mode?

yes, commentary should be audible in LAN and custom games
double check your settings
when you click on custom game
next screen is Game Setup screen (game type, opponents, holes etc)
click on the Trophy icon on the top left
check tournament audio and in the atmosphere setting, select pga tour |
