I need help reading greens grids

Try as I might, Im still misjudging the slope on the green if anyone can offer insight as to what the color gradients indicate I hope itll shave a stroke or two off my game...

Personally I pay little attention to the grid lines. You can normally see by looking if the putt is going to break left or right and by how much. As for if the putt will be uphill or downhill I just look at the elevation indicator at the bottom. Basically it is all a matter of feel that comes to you after awhile.

Tiny beads moving along the grid lines indicate the direction and degree of particular breaks on the course so that with a bit of eyeballing, you can still choose a pretty accurate angle to putt. The grid is color-coded as well--degrees of blue indicate a downhill slope, and red indicates a rising green surface.
