Hi everyone,
I didnt play any part of the TW series since TW04 so I dont know when this changed, but I noticed that the grid in TW08 is much smaller than it was in TW04.
So I cant really see whats going on before the flag when I do long putts or chips.
Does anyone have a solution for that? (please dont tell me to play expert without grid even I am good real-life green reader, Im not in TW. )

Hi.....
You can change the grid to: white grid
Go to your 08 Game install
(default location) C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS(x86)\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Data\Images\Game
find the file: gradient.dds
right click on the file
rename
change the name to: xgradient.dds
This removes the gradient colours from the grid display
leaving a white grid

I already read that in some older posts.
But that won't help me with the size of the grid. |

| Martin, if you change the grid to "always on" in Options, you'll get a larger grid. |

| Martin, I don't use the grid but I believe that I once saw that the more putting attributes you acquire, that the grid size increases along with them. I just switched to an advanced setting and went into the game and turned on the grid and it was covering more than the entire green. I'm at 100/100 for all attributes in the game. If you're using a professional player setting, then I don't know what would cause it to be too small. |

Unfortunately changing Grid to 'Always' didn't help.

Looks like you're right: When I play with a PRO I get a much bigger grid. Nice feature, kinda like that idea. |
