| Is there any type of workaround to add more funds to your player without playing in additional tourneys? (I have 07). |

Links to cheat sites/references to hex editors removed |

I found these for TW 06 and 08:
They worked great. You might be able to find something for 07? |

I created an Amateur player to use in Tour Mode and used the hex editor to give him enough power to hit the ball 300 yards. I really find it annoying and unrealistic that they start the default Amateurs off with no power -- makes Tour Mode unplayable for me. |

BTW, you can also challenge CPU players to games like Skins to earn money. You can basically clean up depending in the ability of your CPU opponent. |

That was a pretty snarly reply. If you're not interested, don't comment, simple as that. Just helping out the OP in case it's an option he'd appreciate hearing about.
And for the record, I also edit my Tour files so my CPU opponents shoot anywhere between -3 and -20, rather than the ridiculous +20 scores the Amateurs and Hacks shoot. My intention is to make the game realistic and tough, not win every tourney. |

snarly ? not really
guess im just old school and see no reason to modify the game files for something as silly as hitting a 300 yard drive on the first day - how realistic is that?
besides, just as easy to limit your attributes to 40-45 to make the offline game tougher
each to their their own - enjoy the arcade |

enjoy the arcade
You just cant keep it to yourself, can you? Youre real friendly.
And your logic is flawed. Many average golfers can hit 300 yard drives once in a while with todays equipment. As a teen back in the 70s, my brother regularly pulled off 300 yard drives with those old wooden drivers.
Whats unrealistic is the way theyve programmed your Amateur golfer in TW to hit 210 yards with absolutely not loft on the ball. Plus its no fun whatsoever. |

The idea of that part of the game is to bring yourself up from a hack golfer to the ranks of a professional, and I think the game does a pretty decent job of it just the way it was designed.
Your brother was regularly hitting 300 yard drives as a teenager in the 70s? I would have to ask if any of those drives were anywhere near the fairway and if he ever turned pro, or did the rest of his game suck? lol |
