Hi,
If anyone can help I would be thankful.
For what ever reason, the 08 will not load in my DVD player. This has been going on for some time now, and sometimes when it did load, the sound would be super choppy. You would than have to exit out of the game and re-boot the PC.
I thought the DVD was scratched so I went and got another one. Still it will not read anything from my DVD player.
The DVD player is fine, other software, CD and DVDs run perfect, never getting any problems. (Never any sound problems either)
I tried dis-arming my fire wall, will little to no help. I used a lens cleaner to clean the Drive out even used a hair drier to try to clean out possible dust.
Any ideas on this would help out so much...

| It would sound to me that your DVD drive has gone bad, but if you have indeed verified that it is reading the data on other DVD disks that you have, I would have no idea what is going on. Strange situation indeed. |

What are your system specifications and what operating system do you use?
Have you tried updating your drivers for your motherboard and video card?
I dont think the problem lies with the DVD player if everything else plays on it fine. It seems more like a software/driver issue between the game and your operating system.
Has the game ever run properly on your PC and did it stop working after you added any new software or hardware?
Also, try running a defrag. Thats been a solution to a lot of problems in the past. |

Not allways a video card driver. Try to un-install sound card driver and re-install even if its
integrated sound, try the same.
Also could be a firmware issue Hyno. |
