Part of the July update is now available early, this is to fix a crash that some people were experiencing, it contains the following: -

* Added Gimmies to the Game Options
* Added Mulligans to the Game options
* In network play, characters display correct texture set
* Improved the water splash effect (making it less white)
* Added 2 new shot types: Flop and Chip and Run - note these are really just short cuts to set the stance
* Improved the behaviour of the tee peg (making it roll less along the ground)
* Added Nearest the pin challenge
* Added Longest drive challenge
* BUG FIX: Player animation - always turns all the way through the swing now
* Improved 2D object rendering code
* Fixed a rendering lock-up that was caused by the shadow shader.


At the end of July we hope to provide some if not all of the following: -
AI opponents
Save/Load game
View/Save replays
Improvements to SwingMeter
Controls on their own thread, so theyre independant of performance
New, licensed course

I'm back of holiday and while I was away the 2nd part of the monthly update was released...


Added AI players in CustomPlay

Added replays - can now replay the last shot taken

Can record the replay as a WMV (no audio at the moment)

Can Save and Load a CustomPlay game

Improved the time it takes for a course to shut down

Improved the loading time for published courses

Optimised the flag code and fixed a problem where the flag could become corrupted and disappear

BUG FIX: If test a course with water (where the water has been drawn onto the terrain) player would fall through the water

BUG FIX: Fixed the "spikes bug" in the height layer (caused by saving and then loading the course)


This months free licensed course will be released shortly.
