I noticed that a less than glowing review of one of the recent courses has been swiftly removed. Is there a new policy that only aprroving comments are allowed?

Both positive and negative comments are allowed if put in a constructive way,comments such as This is a rubbish course without any constructive back up are of no use to anyone.

In my opinion, not many of the comments are objective. They seem to fall on the subjective side. There are a few who comment objectively, and for the most part are right on the money, yet the constructive criticism they provide is sometimes met with disdain by designers who take it personally.

Every designer takes pride in their work. There are some who obviously take hours upon hours to get it right while others seem to toss a course out there without really looking at it.

As far as the comments go, I dont think there is an easy solution. There will always be comments on courses from acquaintices of the designer that take that into account before looking at the actual work,while the people who dont think highly of a course tend to stray in the complete opposite direction.

Personally, I rely very little on the comments until I play that particular course itself. If I end up dumping it after 2 holes... no harm no foul. I then know to take a little more caution into my choice of which courses by what designers to download.
