| Hi. Im trying to add several created players to the PGA Tour folder so I can see their names displayed on the leaderboard when playing a tour season. In previous TW versions, it was possible to do this by simply copying the plr. file of each created player and adding them to the Players/PGA Tour folder. But I cant get it to work with TW 08. Any suggestions, or is this just not possible this year? Thanks for any help. |

| Thanks for the response and help, Gunpowder. Actually, I know how to install custom/created players. Im interested in having their names show up on the leaderboard when I play a season. It was possible last year, but this year when I copy and paste their plr. files in the Players/PGA Tour folder, their names dont show up. Just wondering if its still possible somehow. Thanks again. |

| Well, thanks to the help of evilc06, Ive got the editing-tour-files things all figured out now. Ive got my new and improved Tiger Woods killing the field in my first tourney of the season, shooting a scorching -25 after two rounds, LOL. Gene Sarazen and my brother Ken are a distant second at -11. At this rate, it looks like I might have a tough time getting my First Tour Win Trophy Ball, ha! :) |

Some interesting observations for anyone who plays Tour Mode and is looking for more of a challenge...
First off, Tiger won that first tourney shooting -44(!). Thats 35 stokes lower than any CPU golfer shot in the dozen or so Tour Mode tourneys I previously played. Also of note, the default CPU golfers the files I havent edited shot upwards of -20, again 11 stokes lower than any default CPU golfer had previously shot.
Whats happening then is that because Tigers plr. file has been edited and improved, the entire field has also improved, literally by 100%. Obviously Tigers TOO good at this point, but its only a matter of going back and tweaking his attributes a bit, to a point where hes winning a large percentage of tourneys, but by a score of -20 to -25 or whatever. Which of course is still extremely low and unrealistic, nevertheless it provides a real challenge for anyone who is looking for that. |
