Is there any way to get the white cup ring on the top of the cup in 2008 like there was in 2007 I heard there was one in 2007?
Thanks, Randy |

| Thanks for asking the question... I was playing the other day (with a lot of shade on the greens) and was wondering if this was possible. Thanks again for asking a question that will benefit others (as most questions do btw). |

sure you can do it :) (gonna post it here - that way others can see/use it too)
click on the right mouse button - you get choices like cut, copy, paste etc
but just download that file directly to: C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Data\Images\Game\Ball (and open that location with Windows Explorer or My Computer)
click on the zip file, it should open drag the file into the \Ball folder you have open
it'll ask if you want to overwrite the file click on Yes done
=============== i don't use the grid but an easy way to make it all white is: Go to your 08 Game install (default location) C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Data\Images\Game
find the gradient.dds file right click on the file rename/change the name, ie xgradient.dds (right click on the file, select Rename, the file name gets highlighted, just add an X in fornt like above)
This removes the gradient colours from the grid display leaving a white grid

Hey, You need a photoshop 'type' program that will edit the .dds file, I use paint.net, its free, but there are others out there...
As you did before, navigate to..C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Data\Images\Game\Ball\CupInterior.dds
Open CupInterior.dds and change the color to whatever you want...BE SURE TO COPY THE ORIGINAL so you will have a backup in case you don't like it, or worse...lol
Here's a pic of the file...
Good Luck, have fun with it...
