Dont feel bad about EA not making a PC version of TW 09. It wouldnt be much of a change graphically anyway. And I think TW PGA 08 is great, as it is, thanks to the terrific efforts of the many course designers who added their courses to the TW downloads website here. I cannot express how grateful I am to these individuals for their great efforts.Thank you, each and every one of you. Two course designers stick in my mind and that being Homeboy and Dirtwater. These two are ARTISTS and greatly gifted. So who needs EA when we have such gifted artist such as these? Also, to install new libraries and courses we would have to have someone develop another setup program. That takes hours of work and skill. Thankfully, another gifted person created one for TW PGA Tour 08. In which I am forever grateful.I am now able to install any added library and course with ease, thanks to this programing genius. So do we really need ANOTHER TW PGS Tour. No, NOT REALLY. We have so much now, that we will be quite content for years to come and they are beautiful courses at that. |

Well said Delvanis...
I believe TW08 is the best version of all released TW games. And designers are releasing excellent courses and libraries, each new released course is a new adventure. Not all released courses are perfect...but that is ok, because i don t think all courses in real life are perfect also.

Hi, my name is Giancarlo, Italy, and Im a new visitor of this forum. As a real golf player in the life, I was very happy when I discovered the Tiger Woods Golf game game. Im playing it on PC since 1999 (;much more the real game in the life), and every year I bought the new release. The quality of the graphics is improved year by year, and also the precision of the short game (;chips, flops, putts included). I was very happy of this game, but some problems occurred with the 2008 release. Im searching for help since one year, the EA Assistance in Italy and UK failed and abandoned the problem. So, having seen that you are an enthusiastic player with a lot of experience, I permit to submit my problems to you. My system: XP, with 2800 processor, RAM: 2 Gb TW 2008 I bought it one year ago -august 2007 - and never I could install it completely on my PC: always the courses were not installed, the message was :impossible to initialize the course. At the moment, I had the 2007 version, I copied some new 2008 courses on it, and I was playing in such way. One month ago, my PC crashed and I bought a new one equipped with Vista, quad-processor and RAM 3 Gb. I re:installed on it all the TW versions since 2000 up to 2006, without problems. The graphic of all improved drammatically, I discovered a new TW also in the oldest releases....but now it is to me impossible to install 2007 and 2008: the PC doesnt see the single files of the disc, and so, it is impossible to command: install. I apologize for giving you this disturb, but Id be grateful for any suggestion on the matter. Thank you very much in advance, and best regards. giancarlo.rohr@tiscali.it |

| Giancarlo....... EA included anti-piracy files in the 07 and 08 ( well, at least in the 08) version(s). Is it possible that you have emulation software ( i.e., Alchohol 120) installed on your machine? If you do, that might be the root of your problem. |
