Hi

I have TW PGA Tour 08 installed and I have added MANY libraries and Courses into this golf sim. I have like 270 libraries and some thirty courses altogether. Now I want to copy on a DVD-R the needed folders from C:\Program Files\EA Sports\TW PGA Tour 08\. But WHAT FOLDERS exactly should I burn to the DVD-R disk? So if I have to re-install the game again all I have to do is copy n paste the folders back into the installed TW PGA TOUR 08 game folder? Otherwise I would have to install each of the 270 libraries seperately as well as each PGA course. thanks, I await your replies.

Del. Im pretty sure you have to reinstall the libraries into the game after a re-install. Burning them to a DVD allows you to bypass the pain of downloading each file, but , short of modifying your registry, re-installing libraries and courses is a necessity ( I think).

Otto

I just burned the whole \Tiger Woods PGA 08 folder unto to two DVDs.It was like 8.6 gb worth. But that should cover everything I hope.I dont want to re-install 296 libraries one at a time all over again should I have to reformat my hard drive. It would take hours

As Otto says, if you have to reinstall Tiger Woods game then you will need to install all the libraries and courses again, copying them over wont work.

Rob

You might be right, but I believe it does copy the libraries and Courses, otherwise the total would not be 8.5 GB in total.Think about it

What ROB and Otto are saying is you will have the courses and libraries on your disk but you will still have to install them in the game. Which only makes sense.
