| 1st thing is you need to do is post your power supply wattage and your type of slot, apg or pci for the card. |

more than likely 300 watts but to be sure, there should be a label inside your case on the psu itself that says max. wattage and then voltage for rails.
By the way what card do have now? |

you can test your system vs TW specs here:
http://www.electronicarts.co.uk/news/10732/
300W is minimum, some older PCs and especially some OEM brands (emachine, etc) usually only have 250W power units
that video card is not supported by TW unfortunately |

Hi below is a cheap and good card ( supported card for TW08 game ) On link below you will find the minumum requirements: 250 W power supply is enough for this card, click on link below:
System Requirement:
Pentium III, AMD Duron or Athlon class processor or higher
128MB of system DRAM
250 watt min./300 watt recommened power supply available PCI slot
Installation software requires CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
Windows 95 OSR2, 98 or higher, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, or Windows NT4.0
DVD playback requires DVD-ROM drive
VGA or DVI-I compatible monitor Note: I believe you will need at least 256mb or better is 512mb Ram memory to play TW game with this card, so it is possible you will have to add a bit of Ram memory also ( it is cheap )
Card should work well to play TW08 stock courses, it is possible you will need stronger system to play Custom courses.. |
