| I have a question about widescreen monitors. I am looking to step up to a larger, HD monitor. What would be the widest size that would be feasible for me to step up to? I dont want to get something to large, so that the game may be distorted graphically. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. |

| Pooh, I think you could go to a 24 with no problem. I play the game on a Sceptre 22 normally ( Ive played it on a 42 screen, and while it plays with no problem with an ATI HD 3870 graphics card, you need a telescope to see the yardage remaining with the resolution on high). |

Hanns-G make good quality LCDs at a reasonable price. I got a Hanns-G 19 widescreen for my mum after reading lots of good reviews. The picture quality is very nice. Images are crisp and clear and the build quality is good for the money.
I use a 22 widescreen (not Hanns-G though) and TW08 looks great on it with a 1680x1050 resolution. The menus look stretched due to the game not being run in proper 1680x1050 resolution but once youre on the course it all looks great.
1680x1050 is the highest resolution TW08 will run unless you use some third-party widescreen fixing software. |

| Yo Pooh.I have the HP wide 22 lcd monitor and i have the ATI Radeon X1900gt graphics card and the game looks and plays fantastic on it.I also have the resolution set at 1650 x 1050 in the game and im very happy with how the game looks. On a diferent note i just recently purchsed the Bose Companion 3 series 2 speakers and woofer sound system for my computer and am just blown away by the sound quality while playing the game and all the uses for sound on my system. Now Bose is a little more expensive than most other higher end speakers but you get what you pay for and theyre second to none. |
