I removed this screen and the game started up much faster. Ive since reinstalled the game but cant remember what I did to remove it. Any ideas?

Hi.... On desktop go to shortcut of TW08 game: Right click the shortcut......choose properties and change target from:
C:\Program Files(x86)\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\bin\TW2008.exe
TO:
C:\Program Files(x86)\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\bin\TW2008.exe /NOINTRO
Note: There is space between: .exe and /NOINTRO The file path has to be enclosed in quotes and there has to be a space between the second quote mark and the /NOINTRO.

Make sure it looks like this:
C:\Program Files(x86)\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\bin\TW2008.exe /NOINTRO
The file path has to be enclosed in quotes and there has to be a space between the second quote mark and the /NOINTRO. |

This solution works great for me. Thank You!!
Assuming I need this command for TW08 to start on my Win 10 laptop, is there any way for my TW08 to display the EAS.avi video in the Data->Videos folder? Will my installation of TW08 be able to diplay the avi videos in the Videos->Event folder? When and how will these show up when I play TW08? Alternately, is there a way to modify the default avi videos so I will not need to use the /NOINTRO command? |

I don't know how to answer this question. From my experience on Windows 7 and 10, when you play the EA Screen...i.e...not using the /NOINTRO option, you get a blank screen with only audio until it finishes playing the intro. I will do research on the Internet to look for a solution, but it seems like maybe there is a conflict with the Directx versions run my Windows 7 and 10 in that they don't play the video. |
