This may be a stupid question from a newbie at this, but Ive seen screen shots with incredible detail for the rough around a bunker where individual blades of grass are visible (see attached JPEG from gamershell.com. I noticed that this is not the case with the camera view in TW06 Architect....is that only visible in a screenshot of the course when played in game mode? Thanks in advance!

Actually, I believe that is a screenshot of the 360 version that is confused with the PC version.

Thanks! So you think this is from a version other than the PC version of the game? I want to try a learn a way to make this type of detail show up in a screen shot of a course I design with the archtict software....do you think thats possible?

Neonate, I know its possible to capture that kind of detail in a screenshot..

Probly depends on the kind of setup you have though,, IE: Video card, monitor, and such..

Also you got to have your settings turned up, in the game settings... Example, Grass (high)

Thanks! That keeps my hopes up. Maybe I need to save a hole as a course and play it to see how it looks....Thanks again!

Textures, or anything else for that matter, look totally different in the CA from the game. No blades show up in the CA.

So if I want to view it in the game, I would need to name it hole #1, save it, and open it in the game? I can do that with just one hole? I want to see if ti works before I do all 18.....

yes
compile the course, load it in the game, view it that way
you dont need to have all 18 finished, or a pano, or plantings etc etc for it to open in the game
