| Never had a game pad but wondered if there would be any advantage over a mouse in TWG 2008. |

| i tried gamepad in TW07.....and it was very difficult...i switched back to the mouse. |

I have an Xbox 360 controller and I think it is much better than a mouse. You can do everything from the controller so you really dont have to use the keyboard or mouse. I have had many gamepads and would recomend the Xbox 360 wired controller or the new Saitek gamepad. Do not by a Logitech. My problem with the mouse was having to pull it back everytime a swing. I have a tight desktop so it did not work very well. If you have a lot of room you may want to stay with the mouse, but if not go with the controller and it will be well worth it.

Game pad kills the mouse. Since i got my logitech cordless pad i havnt looked back. It in my opinion is the best way to play tiger woods. We all sit on the sofa and play on my lcd tv.
Everything from straight shots to swerve shots seem so much easier. Far more comfortable than all crowding round the pc to play. I would recomend everyone to give it a go with a game pad.
The only time you have to get up is when you go in the drink or out of bounds. Thats just to drop the ball, or rehit it before carrying on. I can honestly say without a game pad, i wouldnt even bother playing Tiger Woods anymore. But thats just my opinion. |
