Back in 2004 you could start up custom courses with default condition settings, by typing in something like this in the INI file.
[Conditions]
Skydome=1
GreenCond=3
RoughLength=2
WindSpeed=2
(This was actually pulled from the national)
On the 08 Stock Courses, EA has this set up. However on Custom Courses you still have to set them yourself
Does any one know of a way, to be able to set the starting conditions on custom courses like the stock courses? (Dry, Gusty ect.....)
Now the numbers in the National INI file do not match the starting condition in the game. However this pic below is the default starting conditions for the national.
There has to be a way to do this... |

Not sure what you are really after here Hyno, as its just as easy to set these conditions yourself in the TW08 game.
The following is from the Cog INI. yes, you can still do what i think you are asking in your post, just dont leave any spaces, but this is 2008 and I really cant see the logic behind this rather long winded way of setting defaults, when you can in a fraction of the time, simply change the settings to suit your purpose, from the menu.

| Setting default conditions with the .ini file for custom designs hasnt been functional since TW05. |
