| Help can someone please help me with problem im having. I keep loseing my custom golfer in off line game play. Ive conntacted ea witch was no help at all. Any 1 know how to fix the problem and retrieve my lost custom players? |

Hi......
When you start TW game..on main screen go to: Change profile
Inside you will find list with all available players, including you custom players.
When you are using a shared PC ( different people can log in on PC with differend username )it is important you are always using same username.
Example: You log in with username: A....and you create a new player in TW game.
Next day you log in with username: B.....you will not find the new created player.
When you are not using a shared PC there should be no problem.
There is also another problem with custom players, maybe good idea to read below:
When you start playing TW08 game, it is important to know there is a bug in the game:
When you played some courses you will see the loading times between holes are increasing, the game will become slower and slower.
Do next steps to solve the problem:
On desktop you will see folder: My documents........
inside look for: Tiger woods PGA tour 2008....and inside go to folder: Career.
Inside Career go to folder: Players.......and inside look for your playersname folder.
Now you will see folder: Confidence.....and inside you will find files:
Hole Type.tcn......and.....Shot type.tcn
Now right click both files ( hole.tcn +Shot type.tcn) and delete both files.
When you did this: restart TW08 game and play 1 hole on any course and close TW08 game.
Go back to same confidence folder and you will see both files are regenerated: but now they are very small size ( 85kb or something like that) Now right click both files ( Type.tcn......and.....Shot type.tcn) and choose : Properties....and check box: READ ONLY. Do this for both files. |

When you created new player maybe good idea to back up your career, it is very easy to do:
On desktop go to folder: My documents........inside you will see folder:
Tiger woods PGA Tour 08
right click this folder (Tiger woods PGA Tour 08)... and choose:Copy
Now go back to desktop......right click desktop ...and choose Paste.
now you created back up.....maybe good idea to do this every day, so your career will be saved.
When you lost your player, restore the back up in the original My documents folder. |
