Hi,
I have DLd CLsetup 08 installed it,DLd custom courses and libraries in zip format.
I followed a step by step guide and made 2 files,couses and libraries in my C drive in a file named TW
I unzipped the files to the following folders C\TW\courses and C\TW\libraries.
I then in a half drunken state deleted the TW file, why?? I dont know.
I now have started the install process again,however it will not allow me to install, it states I already have the file in the C\TW.... files I made earlier. Upon starting the game to play a custom course it recognises I have them but there is an error saying missing TCR file.
CLsetup shows I have the course but wont let me uninstall.
I have clearly messed up and need HELP.....please. |

| if you are using clsetup you shouldnt need to create file as the program does it all for you..you just download the zip file to your desktop, open clsetup and click on file you downloaded (on desktop) this will then go ahead and install the course for you in the right place |

I know this now, however, at the time I was following instructions on a PDF.
The problem is I cant reinstall the courses I want as CL setup sees I already have the courses for some reason there are no course files for the courses contained in the folder |

Hi.....
Important:
You said you deleted or replaced the folder with your custom courses and libraries.
So now it is possible you will receive error message of CLsetup, and it is possible you can t uninstall and install the courses that are inside the deleted or replaced folder.
The only way to fix the problem is to uninstall the bad courses and libraries with: Courseutilities08
I will send you personal message with link to: Courseutilities08
When you downloaded courseutilities: extract or unzip the zip file to TW08 bin folder:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\bin
Inside bin folder dubble click: courseutilities logo fix.exe....
and courseutilities will open.....and pop up screen will appear
on right side you will see all available TW08 libraries.
In list: select a library where you received the warning message from in CLsetup.
when library selected..... in middle off screen click: Uninstall........and bad library will be uninstalled.
Do this for all libraries you received warning message.( look out don t delete TW08 stock libraries )
When the bad libraries are deleted with courseutilities:
Restart CLsetup........and you will be able to reinstall the problem libraries.
on left side of courseutilities you will see all available TW08 courses.
In list: select a course where you received the warning message from in CLsetup.
when course selected..... in middle off screen click: Uninstall........and bad course will be uninstalled.
Do this for all courses you received warning message.( look out don t delete TW08 stock courses )
When you deleted bad courses+libraries with Courseutilities08, you can reinstall courses+libraries with CLsetup08.
How to use CLsetup:
First of all you have to create a new folder on your PC,You can create it where you want, but not in TW game.
I created new folder on my desktop.
In this new folder you will have to download the course zip file+ all listed libraries zip files.
( no need to unzip the downloaded files, CLsetup can handle zip files )
When you found course you want to download:
On left side you will see:Coursedownloads.net ( Click on it to download course )
On right side you will see : Library name.....with list of all required libraries.
You will have to download all listed libraries on the right side, click on each library name to download.
( Example: when you have course + 5 listed libraries, you will have to download 6 files.Course file + 5 libraries )
When you downloaded course+libraries in new folder:
Dubble click CLsetup icon on desktop and popup screen will appear...in this popup screen you will have to browse/find the new folder where you downloaded course+libraries.
When you found: First dubble click all library zip files, agree with all questions and libraries will be installed in TW game.
At last dubble click the course zip file, agree with all questions and course will be installed in TW game.
When you receive error message of missing file:
write down the name of the missing file
Go to coursedownloads: Library section.....and inside do a search for the missing file.
When found....download and install in TW game with CLsetup. |
