I started on a Course installer for TW 2008. Now would be a great time for players, members or anyone who wants to let me know if they want anything included. Heres a screenshot of what the opening page looks like. Im setting it up as more of a blend between Clsetup and Course Utilities.

OK Im hoping I get a few more responses on this one then I did on the Modded Lib Creator.....WE NEED TESTERS FOR THE INSTALLER.....Testing will begin sometime next week and last about 2 weeks. If interested please reply to this post with your email address. Were going to need a nice mix between XP and Vista Users. Would like to see about 10 - 20 testers to get a good response.

Kevin.
Can us old schoolers decide the install directory each time?.. when designing courses or libs its nice to be able to just install over old files in some cases .. I like to have my folders organized in certain ways for designing purposes ..never used anything but the CU to install in the past.........

..Im guessing youve added that in the properties menu already tho.

Awsome looking layout bro..........

Yes...Only thing youll have to keep in mind is that whatever folder you select will have two foldes inside it....one labled Courses and One Labled Libraries. Also under Properties for the Course or Library youll be able to browse to a the file, whether its the tcr, tcl, flag, splash, logo, music or text, and find it your self. Similare to how Course Utilities work.

update on progress....right now we have it so you can select a course file and it reads it and decides if any libs are missing and if so you have the option to generate a Missing Libs report. Im about to start work on the actual instller functions that will install the course, splash, flag, ini, cls and logo and register them in the windows registery.

You people best save your pennies now so you can donate when this comes out. I have been treated to seeing the work in progress. It is really really nice.

Hell just donate now...seriously. I do and I own another TW site.

Success....Well I finsihed the MAJOR part of the program and have it installing courses and libraries from a zip file.

Heres a screenshot of what a course will look like if the only thing installed is the .tcr file and you havent selected any default files.
