I need a practice course setup like this:
Hole #1: Length: 1,000 yards - perfectly flat tee to the green. Rough: Medium Rough Green Radius: 35 yards Additional green notes: Perfectly flat green. Flat Green.
Hole #2: Length: 1,000 yards - perfectly flat tee to the green. Rough: Light Rough Green Radius: 35 yards Additional green notes: Perfectly flat green. Flat Green.
Hole #3: 1,000 yards Length: 1,000 yards - perfectly flat tee to the green. Rough: Deep Rough Green Radius: 35 yards Additional green notes: Perfectly flat green. Flat Green.
If I have that, then I can look at making more difficult shots, like putting 21 uphill to the pin. Those 3 holes will allow me to benchmark the standard club settings. If I know how the game plays on flat surfaces, then I can make adjustments for unlevel terra firma.

You can have dead straight greens and still miss lol, much will depend on green settings as if set to very dry, the fairway will also be slightly quicker than if you set normal greens etc.
There are yardage charts out there so you could try those or better still, if you have TW06, you could very quickly and easily, set this up to your own specs using the Course Architect prog.

| Doing a couple of test holes like that doesnt even require any skill with the CA. You could easily dso it yourself. Just dwnld the program. |

the last time i posted something with similar content to post #3, i got banned from coursedownloads.com. and i dislike writing internet apologies.
so i am a little hesitant to reply to post #3. however, i would like to know where i can download the 06 CA.
thank you in advance for not banning me for asking this question. dont get carried away with my username Riddick and feel you must ban the movie character. lets all just settle down and look at things cool-headed. thank you. |

Investing in TW06 is what all designers have had to do bud.
Personally, I could do the basic layout for you if you wish, however it would be in my time and probably not as quick as you would want it, due to my personal designing schedule at PGAX.
Or, for just a few dollars, you could buy the prog and very easily produce exactly what you want for yourself. You never know, in a few months, you could actually be putting out fully designed courses that are gems and wanted for playing on, by many here!
I know which route I would take if I were in your shoes, however its your choice. I am offering but cannot give a completion date at this time. Maybe another designer can, I dont know. |
