Game downloaded fine but when I get to 2nd hole fairway is blacked out. Any suggestions.

Hi....
When you go to Download page of Augusta 2004 and on top click: Comments
When you read comments you will see a lot of people had same problem ( black fairways).

Try this to solve problem:
You need to go under Options in the game and change from Automatic to Manual settings and then turn off animated galleries.
