| I have noticed on my game, that when I make a putt on the custom game setting, my golfer reaction is 10-15 seconds behind the putt I made. Last year, when I made a putt, the golfer reaction was immediately after the putt. Also, between holes, the scorecard stays up for 10-15 seconds. Its not like that when I play online, only during a custom 9 or 18. It takes me 30 minutes to play 9 holes, even if I birdie every hole. The delay between putting, and tee shot reactions is so slow. Alot slower for me on 08 versus 07. Is it me, or is this a common occurance? |

Poohween,
Search on twc for experience file. Its an added feature? in 08 that causes delayed loading by keeping track of things youve done that nobody cares about. YOu can delete a file, the system will re-create it only smaller, then right click on it and change to read only so it doesnt grow.

its the HoleType.tcn file
found here: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\My Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Career\Players\PLAYERNAME\Confidence
delete it start a game so it recreates itself close game open the folder above right click on the HoleType.tcn file select properties click on read only ok
this sets it back to a small size and read only prevents the game from increasing the file size as you play |

| Just tried this solution, worked like a charm. Ill bet you wont see the confidence feature in TW09. At least, I hope not. I think its more trouble then its all worth. |

If they fix the performance issues, I like the feature on the XBox 360 version.... |
