Rough not rendering properly in TW08

I did not have time to search the forum, but has anyone else encountered rough that is not rendering properly? Mine looks like cones sticking out of the ground pointing in different directions. I have a new machine with an AMD X2 6000/2GB DDR800/ATI HD2900XT 512 MB. The game runs incredibly smooth and more than 2X faster in framerates at 1920x1200 versus my previous system, but the rough looks awful. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you have to adjust the shader level in graphic options set it at highest i think , or if at highest go the over way . ctrl+O when in game just change it untill it looks right

I get the same thing in custom courses that use the stock textures. I find that the rough renders properly if you turn the shader level to very high ... but then all structures on the course will turn black.

All things considered, I prefer the structures to render properly ... so I play with the shader level set at low and live with the grass growing at an angle.
