My mate and I regularly play TW07 over a wireless connection with no problems.
We both downloaded and installed Muirfield and Carnoustie and have tried to play Carnoustie twice and Muirfield once and every time, either mine or or his PC crashes. I think it is usually the host PC which fails.
Both PCs are running Win XP and as said previously, normal courses work fine.
Any thoughts? |

Hi....custom courses are much tougher to render on your system if you compare with the stock courses.
So it is possible you will have to turn down some settings in game ( options...graphics...)
And for some courses you will need a 256MB graphics card.
When you want to play Muirfield and Carnoustie version created by Hyno designs:

The course comes fully loaded, if the player should encounter any issues, set the tree animation to low or off. How one plays the golf course is dictated by your ability to scamble. The course was tested and redesigned using 1024x768 Screen Resolution, and 256mb Video Card. To achieve the correct grass effects, before each round set the rough to heavy. The course should be played on Breezy, Gusty, and Strong Winds. |

Both our GFX cards should be fine, I use a 256MB ATI 1650 and my mate uses a 256MB Geforce 7600 so plenty of performance, we shall try the recommended settings that you suggest for the rough etc. and see if that helps.
