1) If you download and install custom coures are they used as courses on the PGA tour are only when playing custom games and on-line?
2) Is there any diffrence in the clubs that can be purchased ie do the more expensive drivers hit the ball further and if so what would people say would be the best clubs to purchase?
3) When I hit the ball my tempo is very fast. What is the best shaft to compensate a little for this?

Hi Capman....( How is fishing on fishsim going...i am also member of Karens site...lol)
1)..Custom courses cant be used on TW08 PGA tour ( EA didn t release Career editor 08 ).
2) All online Players are equal (75% attributes etc....), so your offline carreer has no influence on you online game.
But you can go to Gameface and choose different Equipment to play , and to hit balls a bit further..
That is what i am using:
Driver: King Cobra Speed LD F driver
Woods: King Cobra speed pro fairway woods
Irons: King Cobra FP irons.
Wedges: EA1-under Edition wedges.
Ball: Bridgestone B330-s
Shafts: Nike CPR Extra stiff flex shafts
(with settings above on advanced and expert level ,i can hit ball 300 yards (with D9) from tee without wind, and no power shot used.
3) When you have very fast tempo:
Adjust you swing:
When you did your backswing.....wait a bit longer before you execute your forward swing.
When pauze between backswing and swing is 2 long you will have: slow or very slow tempo tempo.
When pauze between backswing and swing is 2 short you will have: fast or ver fast tempo. |

Cheers gunpower for you answers.
I didn`t know you where a fishsimmer as well. I`m just getting back into it after a few years break and I`m really enjoying being back. Anyway maybe you have fished my venues in the past, River Nene and Milemead Carp lake. Anyway this is going of topic now so better finish before the thread gets locked.

| Stiff shafts seem to add a few yards to your shots. I havent seen where the actual brand and make of clubhead makes any difference though. |

| Thankyou for this info, I miss the info you get when buying equipment in 07, it just doesnt give me any info in 08 , so I am finding this a bit hit and miss... and quite literally at times too lol |
