TW07 works perfectly for the year that I have owned it with all courses that came packaged with the game, however every single downloaded course works, but the ground is black. I play on my laptop which is just over a year old. It is dual processor
T2300 @ 1.66GHz 980 MHz, 0.99 GB Ram Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family 6.14.10.4864 It has always stayed on auto for graphics settings. I tried temporarily changing to manual and disabling, but no change in the grass and ground.
Does anyone know why the courses that come with the game work perfectly and the designed add-on courses all have black ground? More importantly, does anyone know a fix?

Commentary
I bought TW08 which works on it, but ususally get BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) soon into the game because it doesnt like my video card or driver. I have updated the driver to the most current. It doesnt matter, because I have decided that I prefer TW07 for several reasons. Mostly because the Game Face let me reproduce myself, but TW08 does not come close. I did not not care for the big increasing yardage number in the center of the screen or the new screen layouts. I am happy now that I can add many courses to TW07. I am sure that I will try to design a course in the future. |
