followed instructions on installing custom golfers
but they dont appear in game 08
am I missing something?

How to Install Custom Players:
First you will have to extract the downloaded Zip file:
Now you will see a folder.... with inside this folder:
Custom Golfer folder + .plr file.
.aia + .hal + .cal file.
1) Put the Custom Golfer folder and .plr file in
MyDoc/Tw08/Career/Players
2) Put the Ability files in (.aia,.hal,.cal)
MyDoc/Tw08/Ability
Note: you can find My Documents folder on your desktop.
When finished.... start TW08 game and on main screen (bottom right side) select: Change Profile.....and you will see a list with all available players....scroll and you should find added player here. |

Are you sure you downloaded a Player from TW 08 section ?
When you open Utilities you are in TW07 section....you have to select TW08 game first.....and click: Go.
I downloaded player: David Howell.......i added in game TW08 and i can see him in game.... |

Im sure there from 08,the one with 64 players in it
just tried david howell with no success

Hi....
Try this:
Extract the zip file to a location: for example : Desktop
Now you will have a folder on desktop: 282davidhowell.
When you look in that folder you will see a new folder: Howell
dubble click this folder (Howell) and inside you will see:
Folder named: David Howell
David Howell.aia
David Howell.cal
David Howell.hal
David Howell.plr
Now right click folder (David Howell) and choose: Copy........and paste in next location: MyDoc/Tw08/Career/Players
Do the same with: David Howell.plr
(So now folder David Howell+David Howell.plr will be in players folder)
Now right click : David Howell.aia.....choose copy.......and paste in next location: MyDoc/Tw08/Ability
Do the same with: David Howell.hal + David Howell.cal
( So now .aia + .hal + . cal files will be in Ability folder ) |
