Being a former Links player, I found that the auto cam and the ball cam made the game too arcadish. Playing with the fixed camera adds realism to the game since you realy dont know where the ball will land until just prior to it hitting. Since TW is graphicaly superior to Links, using this camera option lets you see the fairway lighting and contours in a whole new light, one you dont get with the auto or ball cam.
