Since transfering the 07 courses, I like them better than the 08 versions of the same course. If i delete the 08 from the course file will the season pick up the 07 version? Will it stick something else in its pllace?

No...i don t believe it will work.
All courses have different Guid number in registry....so when you delete TW08 course...it will not pick up TW07 course........
