I was informed by Amazon.com that TW 2008 for the PC will be for sale August 28th and will come in the DVD format. I already pre ordered. Now if we can get Mr Jurgens to give us another setup program for add on courses that would be great. Happy golfing all.

We dont even know if well be able to play add-on courses as of yet. Many people supposedly in the know seem to have their doubts that we will. If not, Jorgen wont have to bother. Personally I hope we wont be able to play add-on courses. Im sick of buying the new version every year just to play with my friends even though barely anythng changes all THAT much and Im more than happy with 07 and 06. Just my 2 cents though. I know Im in the minority.

Jorgen is NOT doing CLTool or CLsetup for Tiger Woods anymore.

oh
but certainly there is always the possibility of using the Course Utility tool that Electronic Arts includes in the game like it did this year even though there was not a Course Architect program like the Readme file said.

Man you guys are making it seem like installing a course w/o Jorgens is way harder than it really is. Granted Jorgens installer is/was a great tool to use, but when you get the Course Utilities down pat, the only difference in the install is just unzipping the folders.

I guess you dont get the logo install either but that is easy enough to do also, if that is something you want.

Jorgens extras will be sorely missed but IF, and I say IF very very lightly, customs are allowed in 08, using the Course Utilities that comes with the game WILL NOT be that hard to figure out. I promise!!

Good Luck,

big

I am sure Orby will hook you all up with a video..

The CU is quite simple...

Big sure has the inside track, guess it is time to start crying now *if*

If is such a grand word. It leaves doors open if you happen to be wrong....

As everyone knows, theres no real inside track on anything EA does. My opinions are just a guess, same as everyone else.

I know one thing. If the IF does not happen, I wont be buying the 08 version of the game.
