| I need to know a quick and easy way for CA06 to reckinize 07 files...tried other forum hints and tips but not working for me. Im working on a course that Im have way through but I would like to post it in 07...How can I do that???? |

you cant because when course architect 2006 was written, tw2007 didnt exist. you have to install any libraries from 2007
you want to use in your tw2206 game. |

Hi .......
When you want to create TW07 custom course you will have to put TW07 stock libraries in TW06 game.
TW07custom courses are created with Course architect06.....and CA06 can only use libraries which are inside TW06 game.
Dont use TW06 stock libraries to create TW07 custom course. Why ?.......with TW06 stock libraries you will see very bright fairways/greens and trees are not rendering very well in TW07 game... etc.....
How to put TW07 stock libraries in TW06 game:
Go to next path (default): C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07\Courses
Inside courses folder you will find next course folders(stock):
PBL.....SAW...STA....AVI....CPK.....FAL...JPN.....KHC...KOC....NTL....PRG....RIV
inside each folder you will see library file (for example in PBL folder you will see PBL library)
Now right click library and copy....and paste library to desktop.
Do same for all other libraries.
Now open CLSETUP06...and in popup screen search for desktop copied stock libraries....dubble click on each library and CLsetup06 will install all TW07 stock libraries in TW06 game.
So when you design course with Course architect 06 you can use one(or more) of TW07 stock libraries.
You can also use a lot of other custom TW07 libraries. ( course downloads.com....library TW07 section)
When you find TW07 custom library...download....and install in game with CLsetup06.
Now next problem: you can only use TW07 custom Panos, panos from previous years are not working in TW07 game.
Where can you find TW07 custom Panos: on Coursedownloads.com.....TW07 library section.
In TW07 library section you will find a lot of TW07 Panos. Or you can have a look in Custom course section TW07...and have a look what Panos other designers used.
Note: you will see TW07 custom panos are floating in Course architect06....but that is no problem...when you compiled course and play course you will see pano is looking great. |
