We all want our favourite game to look its best, right?
One thing that I have discovered is that 3D strcutures come out best in the game with the ligting set to noon, afternoon or sunset. Other lighting settings look weird because the structures are lighted only one way. For designers: when u look at the top view in the CA the light as seen in the game will come from the right. This would be East if it were a regular map, but for some reason North and South are switched between the CA and the game, because if it were the same, the light in the game would fall on the structures from the other side. Sounds a bit complicated, maybe, but check it out for yourself and youll see what I mean. It may be just a small thing, but it doesnt afeect play at all and your course will look more natural while youre playing it.
