Just called EA Sports to tell them about the annoying ESPN radio sports news, that has been playing over and over and over, for the last month! The tech support guy said the were totally unaware of this problem, and no one had brought it to their attention. He told me something WOULD be done about it. I am curious to see how long it takes. Anyway, if it gets fixed, then you know who to thank:):).

The same thing has been playing over and over, or just espn in general has been playing?

If its the latter then ESPN will always play diff nightly updates in the loby if you choose to have them sponsor your online play. If you choose not to have ESPN pay your dues then you, of course, would be paying to play online.

I dont know whos responsibility it is, but the little ticker tape at the bottom of the screen is updated daily. So, in fact, we know that works fine, its just the radio commentary that is hung up. I would rather hear nothing, or lobby music while we wait, besides this same ol repeated news about Tony LaRussa and Josh Hancock.

I havent turned my speakers off! I sent an email today, AGAIN, telling EA about their situation in the lobby with the same repetitious radio commentary still playing from 3 weeks ago. Oh well, I guess they cant seem to get it worked out.

Dont expect any issue to be resolved or if resolved the resolution occurring anytime soon. EA is just incredibly slow to respond to most issues with their games...

You are very welcome. I have a technical support guy, that has gotten to know me over the last week or so. He realizes that I have had legitimate complaints about EAs online play. And knows that I am not just someone who is a whiner or a complainer. He is working on a few suggestions that I have given them to try, in order to make online play go smoother, and less disconnects, etc. I will be more than happy to discuss this matter with him, during the upcoming week. He has told me that they try to address every issue, as they receive complaints, suggestions, ideas, etc. So, it may take a little time, but be assured that the word will get put in, and action will be taken! Thanks!

I take it this is the first EA product youve ever come in contact with and TW07 is the only version youve ever owned before? That would explain the naivety.

Look here, I come on here TRYING to make it better for all of us. Then I get some smart comment from you?! Just who do you think you are? I got the radio broadcast fixed didnt I? Or did you have something to do with that? Let me give you a nickels worth of free advice, keep your comments to yourself, and just sit back and enjoy TW 07 golf, ok? Oh, by the way, the sky in my world is ALWAYS Carolina blue baby!

Dude, I honestly thought you were kidding when you were taking credit for getting the broadcast fixed. Now it seems you really think it was your persistance that paid off and nothing would have been done if you haddent been involved. I dont think anyone would have had a problem or said anything about it if you would have just left it alone, but your arrogance now is the problem.

You act as if somehow your better than anyone else whos tried to address EA on issues with the game. The whole I GET results and no need to question YOUR ability to make the RIGHT contacts makes the difference.

Your efforts, for those who had a problem with it, are appreciated Im sure. I dont mean to knock you in any way but the truth of the matter is, the issuse you choose to address isnt pertinant to any game play problems and even further would have more than likely been fixed had you called or not. Just because things take time doesnt mean they arent being addressed. ESPN is a paying sponsor of the game, and a large one at that.

You may not be nieve but your assumption that it was because of you and your abilities, solely as the reason this was fixed, is.

Now, if you really want to impress us, try using your abilities to get game related issues resolved in the same time the broadcasts were repaired.
