| Im trying to make tw07 courses... Ive found I need to install tw07 libs to ca06 so that the courses it creates can play in tw07... Problem is I have about 200 or so libs installed in tw07... I dont know which ones are the stock courses. Could someone list all the libs I need to install to begin making courses for tw07? |

Stock libraries are listed under each EA Stock course.
Go to this directory:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07\Courses
The EA Stock Courses are in directories with three letters, like AVI, CPK.. etc... Each course directory has that stock library inside..

Hi....
you can find stock libraries 07 inside course folder of all Tw07stock courses.
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07\Courses
You can find stock libraries in next course folders:
AVI (Aviara)
CPK (Central park)
JPN ( Emerald dragon)
KOC (Kiawah island)
PBL (Pebble beach 07)
PRG (Pumpkin ridge)
RIV (Riviera)
STA ( ST-Andrews)
FAL (The Falls)
KHC (The K-club)
NTL (The National)
SAW ( TPC at Sawgrass)
Some help below, it was posted on TWC by Mc Bruce:
Remember that you are using the 06 CA so in essence you are making designs for TW06 ... because most versions are backward compatable this means that designs done with the 06 CA will work in TW07. The 06 stock libraries are really of little use if you are playing only TW07 -the color is way to bright and they basically look horrid in TW07.
That being said all but the Architect libs for Tw06 could be cloaked with the CL Tool by Jorgan. Any customs used would have to also be installed in TW07 ...keep that in mind -libraries used in the design need to be in both versions of the game.
Maybe try as suggested...download the Jorgan installers/tools for 06 and 07 ...use the 06 installer to install all the Stock 07 libraries into TW06 (this will allow them to be used in the design also allowing the course to be played in TW07) into a premade folder (call it 07 Libs or a name you find convient).
eg ...I made a folder for (designing purposes mainly as I never play TW06) all custom libraries in :\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 06\Courses\Customs\TW07 and added a folder TW07 for only the stock 07 libraries. This keeps them seperate and more manageable and in some cases as in St Andrews for both TW06 and 07 having the same name STA.tcl which could cause issues for the game and Course Architect.
The tutorials are always your best route.. one bit of advice is to clean all the swap files from the :\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Course Architect 06\swapfiles (folder) by simply deleting them all.
These are the data for the thumbnail images for each library and their texture values,,as you add and remove libraries they are regenerated ...once the count of swap files reaches apx 70-100 files the CA starts to crash ocationally when new libraries are added. After they are cleaned youll have a delay of up to a minute or 2 while they are generated again when you right click and select the properties of a texture and when you click on the librarian tab. Good time to take a break and just sit back and wait - you have to wait till they are done before continuing.
