When playing TW07 game, after 3 holes game was very choppy , big lag.
I never had problem before, so i checked my PC.
I am using single geforce 7900GT card....i went to Nvidia control panel and problem was GPU core temperature. Extreme high temperature.....126°C.
When temperature exceeds threshold (default 125°C), Graphics card will run in safe mode, and veerrrryyy slow.
There is option: Notify when GPU core exceeds threshold it was unchecked.I am surprised it is unchecked in default mode. I checked this option to receive notify when temperature is high.
I removed my PC cover and FAN mounted on Geforce card is not working anymore.
So i will need new FAN or new graphics card.....aaaahhhh, well not the end of the world.
I am posting this because i believe it is good idea for Geforce users to check thisoption:

| Gunny, while youre replacing your GPU fan, you might consider getting some copper heatsinks to go on the graphics RAM , as well ( if the cooler doesnt block access to the RAM. I know you dont have access to newegg, but you might find some of these available in your area....http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835116019 |

I also noticed that on my card although I have a water cooled card so the fan option is greyed out.....
My slowdown core threshold is set to 145.....the highest I have ever seen is 85..... |

Today i replaced card(i was lucky it was still warranty) with new/upgraded card, al running fine now.
I played online game and top temperature was 79°C, much better lol. |
