Good Morning, i am planning to change my computer and i was wondering what i shoud buy to play tiger 2007 and tiger 2008 smoothly. I dont want to spend 4000$ on a computer, something around 2000$ maximum. I think with a computer Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ, 4 GIG OF RAM, A GOOD VIDEOCARD OF 256MEG, OR IF I CAN BUY 2 256MEG VIDEO CARD AND CONNECT IT TOGETHER...
I DONT KNOW WHAT TO BUY
I WANT TO PLAY THE GAME AT FULL SETTINGS

I recently built my computer and it matches your specs closely. I built it with the idea of upgrading down the road.
It has a Pentium 4 3.4ghz processor, 2gb system ram, ATI Radium X1300 video card with 256mb ram, 300gb SATA hard drive and sound and LAN connection integrated into the motherboard. And of course a DVD recorder.
Most likely your biggest decision will be choosing your operating system (XP or Vista). If you choose XP most likely your printer and everything else (including software) will work. If you choose Vista right now there are no guaranties that stuff like your camera, printer or any device will have the available software drivers. Not to mention if the software you use will work properly, especially games.
My suggestion is do your homework on which OS will be installed, the hardware for the PC should be simple just look at the software requirements of games or any other application software you want to run.
By the way Im running Vista Home Premium and Tiger 2007 does not work correctly, but Tiger 2006 works good with graphics set for best performance. So Ill be playing Tiger 2006 until a Vista version works. |
